The Déloul Center for Strategic Studies and Research is an independent intellectual institution led by an elite group of former military officers and civilian experts. It was officially accredited on June 3, 2024, under registration number fA 010000242805202408687.
The center was established in response to an urgent need to develop strategic visions that elevate the stature of the state and restore the national dimension, in an environment where domestic challenges intertwine with regional and international transformations. It adopts in-depth analysis and a multidimensional approach as tools for understanding reality and anticipating the future, with a perspective that strengthens security, development, and stability.
The center works to achieve a set of strategic objectives, the most important of which are:
Bridging psychological and social divides among the components of the Mauritanian people and fostering a culture of belonging to a unifying homeland, free from division and fragmentation.
Enhancing regional rapprochement among member states, based on a logic of cooperation and integration rather than rivalry and competition, to serve collective interests and establish sustainable development.
Promoting a culture of peace and stability in the region and the world through dialogue and the exchange of ideas among experts and thinkers, affirming that peace is the foundation of any renaissance or stability.
Building an independent and responsible think tank that contributes to strategic decision-making and reinforces the concepts of integration between the state and society, as well as between security and development, within a shared human horizon.
The Déloul Center aspires to become a reliable reference in its field—a bridge connecting elites and decision-makers between an ambitious present and a possible future.
